Contest Rules 


1. Eligibility: Contest participants must be atleast 18 years old and reside in the United States of America.

2. Design Criteria: The logo design must be as follows: 

  • Derived from The Open Sea Foundation's mission statement (this can be found in our About section for reference). 

  • Aligned with The Open Sea Foundation's current look and brand identity. 

  • Submitted in vector format to ensure scalibility. 

  • Submitted in both in color and monochrome (black and white) to ensure versality across different mediums. 

 

3. Submission Deadline: All submissions must be completed before November 23, 2025. Please submit your logo design via the form below.


4. Submission Fee: There is a $10 dollar submission fee for the logo contest, each participant will receive one ticket to the Open Sea Foundation Innaugural Event, December 4th, 2025.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility: By participating in The Open Sea Foundation's logo design contest, entrants certify that they are atleast 18 years of age, reside in the United States, and have submitted a valid entry by the contest deadline.

Ownership & Usage Rights: By submitting a design, entrants agree that The Open Sea Foundation will hold full ownership and usage rights of the winning logo and that The Open Sea Foundation may use the logo across various media and platforms in perpetuity.

Originality Requirements: All submissions must be original works created by the entrant. By submitting, you warrant, represent, and confirm that your design does not infringe upon any existing copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of third parties.

Modification Rights: The Open Sea Foundation reserves the right to modify the winning design for use in various formats or to make adjustments as necessary for branding purposes.

Compensation Disclaimer: The $1,000 reward will be awarded to the selected winning designer only. No additional compensation will be provided for use of the logo beyond this reward.

Right to Cancel or Modify: The Open Sea Foundation reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time for any reason.

Non - Winning Entries: Non - winning entries remain the property of the entrant. After the close of the contest, and the winner announcement, The Open Sea Foundation will not use any non-winning designs without the entrant's explicit permission.
